“I’m still learning.” The famous painter and sculptor, Michelangelo, was known to have proclaimed this simple yet profound statement.
Just like Michelangelo, we also believe in expanding our knowledge and skills in our field in more ways than one. Our team continues to seek out opportunities that allow us to provide our community with the best IT solutions. Keep reading to hear about our most recent efforts of expanding our expertise and learning new, innovative approaches. As a bonus, both of the opportunities offered us the chance to take a road trip too.
SolarWinds Automation Training
Our Senior Field Engineer, Todd Olson, just attended a SolarWinds Automation Training in Charlotte, NC from August 21-23. The courses that Todd participated in were centered around the following topics:
- Advanced Network
- Advanced Server
- Database & Automation
- Security Event Management
- Web Help Desk
- Coder Camp: Rest APIs
We want to stay in the know on automation features with software such as SolarWinds. It’s resources like this that allow us to serve our customers and their unique, complex networks.
Empower Conference by SolarWinds
Also Chris Thurman, Senior Field Engineer, and Matt Perkins, President of Axiom, will be attending the Empower MSP Conference also hosted by SolarWinds. The conference is September 4-5 in Atlanta, GA at Loews Atlanta Hotel, located in the heart of the metro area. We are excited to be on the road and soak up all the opportunities available at this event.
While at the Empower Conference, attendees can experience and engage with more than 20 hours of educational content across a variety of of fields, including technical, business, sales, and marketing. This means we will be thinking not only about the latest in IT but also about our customer service, how we communicate as a business, and effective business practices we aim for at Axiom.
Guests will be able to ask questions to speakers, participate in live, hands-on demonstrations, and to network. It’s the goal of the conference that we walk away with valuable knowledge, contacts, and practical insights that they can apply to our daily work. Based on feedback from previous conferences, the leadership behind SolarWinds has allotted more time to network with peers this year, including structured topical roundtable discussions during the lunch breaks. We are looking forward to that!
We believe we should always be evolving as a company. Many of our clients are local business owners and community leaders. We know they hold this belief too. So we look forward to our upcoming event. Be sure to follow us on social media as we share glimpses of our time at the training in Charlotte and the conference in Atlanta.
