Our security panels centralize communication channels like Wi-Fi and cellular, with Crash & Smash Protection that contacts Your monitoring station even if a burglar destroys the hardware. Your Alarm.com system can identify when an unauthorized user is attempting to use Your disarm codes.

Monitoring

In an emergency, Your monitoring service will alert first responders. And intruders aren’t the only risk. If there’s a fire or CO leak, Your connected detectors will signal to send help your way.

Alarm.com monitors Your security panel every 6 Hours and if it has not checked in due to it being un-plugged or no wireless connection it will notify You. This monitoring can be increased to hourly but will require an additional charge.

Sensor Activity Monitoring (Up to 50 Sensors)

See when specific door and window sensors open and close, and when motion sensors detect activity, even when the system is not armed.

Smart Arming (Residential Only)

The Smart Arming feature automatically arms Your system Arm Stay when they go to bed and disarm it when they wake up. Smart Arming can be activated at a set time or when sensors detect activity. Smart Arming ensures that the system is secure every night while preventing false alarms.

Unexpected Activity Alerts

System data is analyzed in the background to learn the normal activity patterns of a property. The system can then send notifications whenever unusual activity occurs in a home or business. Unexpected Activity notifications are intended to provide information only. These alerts are not a replacement or substitute for life safety monitoring features.

Note: The Unexpected Activity Alert feature requires 30 days of activity before it can start generating alerts. Therefore, new accounts or accounts that reset the Unexpected Activity Alert notification must wait 30 days before Unexpected Activity Alert notifications are generated.

Thermostat Control

Alarm.com allows for control of Alarm.com compatible thermostats to set temperature, thermostat modes, heating schedules, and many other options.

It also includes integrations with Nest thermostats. All thermostat schedules must be configured using the Google Nest platform. It is a basic integration that only allows control of the target temperature, thermostat mode, and fan mode. It does not support any additional rule-based automation, website-programmed thermostat or fan schedules, battery level reporting, or advanced configuration settings.

Locks, Lights, and Shades

Alarm.com allows for control of Alarm.com compatible locks, lights, and shades to allow for control of them all from the Alarm.com platform. Integration with any supported Lutron product.

Weather Information & Alerts

Receive current weather and multi-day weather forecast displayed on compatible security panel screens and keypads. Receive alerts from the National Weather Service (tornado, tsunami, or fire) directly on the security panel screen. Available within the United States and Canada.
